Emphasis Distinctives

After you complete this program you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate advanced exegetical skill for the proclamation of God’s Word with sensitivity to the individual pericope, literary genre, and canonical-theological context.
  • Demonstrate advanced skill in composition and delivery for the proclamation of God’s Word with sensitivity to the use of language and presentation.
  • Relate the theology of the biblical text with authority and sensitivity to contemporary life, diverse contexts, and specific audiences.

To apply, you must have a Master of Divinity degree or an MA in Biblical, Theological, or Ministerial Studies with additional work experience and graduate coursework. All applicants will have three years of ministerial experience and provide transcripts, writing samples, and character references.
