Title IX

Title IX Office

The protection and support of our students is vitally important to Moody Bible Institute. This includes all matters relating to Title IX. This federal law prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in federally funded education programs and activities, particularly sexual harassment and sexual violence.

Moody's Title IX policy applies to all members of the Moody community—students, faculty, administrators, and staff as well as vendors, contractors, and third parties who visit campus.

Reporting Rights and Resources

All members of the Moody Community are encouraged to report information about any form of conduct potentially prohibited by this Policy involving a student or an employee.

Moody’s first response will be to see how best to support.

A report does not automatically initiate any particular resolution process. The Title IX Coordinator will walk through options for resolution and outcomes. Choosing to make a report and deciding how to proceed can be a process that unfolds over time. Although Moody may need to take action as a result of a particular report, Moody will endeavor to respect a Complainant’s wishes in making the decision that is best for them and will provide support to assist each individual in making that decision.

Lack of evidence should not discourage a person from reporting an experience.

For more information on how to make a report, see Reporting
