Student Life at MTS – Michigan
MTS–Michigan is located within a 20 minute drive from the Detroit Metropolitian Airport and within a 45 minute drive of most Detroit metro areas.
Recreational opportunities abound in the area, including boating, fishing, camping, skiing and snowmobiling.
About Plymouth
MTS–Michigan is located minutes from old downtown Plymouth, where students have access to coffee shops and places to take an occasional break between classes. Founded in 1867 by settlers from Plymouth, Mass., the city has a population of nearly 10,000 and features a vibrant mix of shops, restaurants and specialty stores located around a central park. The downtown area has been recently renovated, and the city offers family and community events throughout the year.
Housing
Although MTS–Michigan is a non-residential campus, there are several apartment complexes within a reasonable distance from the seminary. To discuss housing options, please contact our Admissions Office at admissions.mi@moody.edu. Our Admissions Counselors can provide you with apartment listings for Plymouth, as well as surrounding communities.
Library
The Michigan campus features a complete library with a collection that reflects and supports the curriculum, provides access to bibliographic tools and databases, offers interlibrary loan services, and possesses a knowledgeable and attentive staff.
Social Life
Fellowship and recreation for students are important parts of the seminary experience. The Student Leadership Team organizes social events, social gatherings and seminars that include students from all academic programs, faculty and special guests.

Student Lounge
The Student Lounge is located on the first floor of the main building. It provides a place for students to interact, eat, study or relax. The lounge also includes student mailboxes, student information boards, microwaves and a beverage area for student use.
