Graduate Scholarships and Grants
Each year Moody awards numerous scholarships and grants to students who are both worthy and in need of such an award. Moody is reliant upon the sacrificial gifts of our donors to directly fund every scholarship and grant.
Need and Merit Based Scholarship
Institutional Scholarships are awarded annually, up to $3,000 per academic year, and are based on a combination of need and merit. To receive these scholarships, students must enroll in at least 6 credit hours per semester in a degree-seeking program (certificate and non-degree programs are ineligible) and must be meeting our standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress.
- Need is determined from your completion of the FAFSA
- Merit is determined from academic history, references, ministry involvement and ministry intent upon graduation
Application Process
External Scholarships
Outside scholarships are awarded from organizations not necessarily affiliated with Moody Theological Seminary. These funds are awarded based on academic achievement, talent or other criteria. Scholarships usually do not need to be repaid.
