Topic: Cultivating the Inner Life of a Leader
Leading ministry has the potential to leave leaders depleted, and therefore ineffective, especially when we lead out of a neglected inner life. We will look at 3 ways to be intentional about the health of our inner lives so that we will be leaders of substance whose ministry work flows from the intimacy fostered in a deep walk with Christ.
About the Speaker
Jason Smith is the Next Gen pastor at Eastview Christian Church in Normal, IL where he has served for the past 20 years. He and his wife Kim have been in ministry for 29 years and have 3 children. After receiving his B.S. in Youth Ministry from Lincoln Christian College, he studied in Lincoln Christian Seminary’s Chicago Center for Urban Mission.
