Certificate in Human Services

Learn how to counsel from a biblical perspective

When you earn your Certificate in Human Services from Moody, you can learn how to counsel others from a biblical perspective. The courses teach you interpersonal skills and how to apply them as you interact with others and gain an understanding of social work values and opportunities.

This 21-credit-hour program is designed to equip students for effective service to various disadvantaged people experiencing difficult life situations with developmental and cultural sensitivity. You will learn theory, skills, and how to serve in the social-service arena guided by a biblical and theological lens.
