This year’s Alumni Association Board elections feature three new faces, replacing four alumni who are stepping down.
Nominees
Mark Lockett '09 has led three ethnically, socio-economically, and generationally diverse churches. Currently he is the senior pastor at Neighborhood City Church in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He has also served as the senior pastor of churches in Chicago and Saskatchewan, Canada. Mark is committed to helping people experience deep communion with Christ and the beauty of His unified and diverse church. Mark and his wife, Leah, have two children, Eliam and Elysia.
Emmanuella Carter ’16, surrendered her life to Christ at age 17 after a teacher shared the gospel with her. Now Emmanuella is passionate about equipping and training people through teaching and preaching. She received a BA in Theology from Moody, where she has also served as an adjunct professor. Currently Emmanuella is studying to receive an MDiv at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. As she studies, Emmanuella also serves as women’s ministry director at her home church, Progressive Baptist Church. She is married to Chelten Carter ’20, and they live on the South Side of Chicago.
Dave Resseguie ’07 graduated with a BA in Youth Ministry at Moody, then began a career in the financial services industry. He worked in leadership roles with both Northwestern Mutual and MassMutual. In 2011, Dave began serving as a chief shepherd with the Resseguie Group, working with leadership teams and entrepreneurs to offer keynote speaking, training, and coaching. Dave also serves on the board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for the South Atlantic region. He lives in Coral Springs, Florida, with his wife, Gennifer, and their three children, Charli, Chaz, and Cameron.
