Gain biblical training to care for those in crisis
This two-year, 60-credit program provides you with specialized training in crisis and trauma care for serving in pastoral ministry, humanitarian aid organizations, community services, or mental health facilities. You’ll also receive detailed training that allows you to minister with confidence to hurting individuals and families. You’ll learn to care for people of diverse ages, abilities, and cultural backgrounds who are in crisis or recovering from trauma using biblically sound principles from God's Word. This program is available at our downtown campus or online.
Learning Outcomes
With an Associate in Crisis and Trauma Care degree, you will be able to:
- Construct a theologically informed Christian worldview for crisis and trauma care ministry.
- Identify care principles and create a working knowledge of their ministry application.
- Demonstrate skills for providing effective care using a global, developmental, sociological, and trauma-informed Christian ministry perspective.
- Build biblically based lessons and case management strategies for crisis and trauma care ministry.
